Well,
World championship soon.

and Euro Hockey Tour Final tomorrow.
Russia vs Sweden
2-3 after first game in Sweden.

will see...

Our main coach (Bykov) "fire" Alex Semin (Washington) from team.
Reason: missing first training ...
I think it's bad decision.
How ignoring Alexei Kovalev ! (i dont like our main coach)

Now, we got only 3 NHL players: Ovechkin, Andrei Markov, Alex Frolov.

I HOPE Bykov will take Malkin, Kovalchuk, Yashin...

We need goalie (no Khabibulin, no Bryzgalov, no Nabokov ...)
and central forward (no Fedorov)

What can you say?

Canada will win as always. End of story lol :canada:

Crosby might be going and Ryan Smyth might go if he gets eliminated.

Russian, probably won't get Bryzgalov or Nabokov because their are doing well in the playoffs. I wouldn't bother with Kovalchuk because he has been sucking lately. So has Malkin, who was completely invisible against Ottawa.

Can't wait till next year in Halifax!!!!!!!!

Seconded.
There is no doubt about it that Canada will indeed open up a can against any and all opponents.

We don't always do well, because we send the B team lol, but I think even the Canadian B team can beat most countries.

I tried to get tickets for the World Jrs in 2003, but it was sold out like 2 years early. WTF! So this time I was determined to get a ticket early. Got full package seat right at centre ice for 2008

The only shitty part is the medal games are in Quebec, which is gay

Anyway, back to THIS YEAR's discussion lol

Will see, will see.
i thought World Jnrs Championship 2007 Final will be with Canada ...
but this not so...

Now we have Malkin and Gonchar in roster!

we beat Finland
Morozov - Zinoviev - Zariopov our main power!

Saw today CAN-SVK game - interesting, very.

Canada's B Team is doing pretty good so far lol

I am suprised by the Slovaks. They have quite a few good players (for a change)

It was in Vancouver a couple years ago and Halifax a few years before that. I haven't heard of any more.

...just imagine what it could have been like with the A-team (no, not that one)

the A team is still in the playoffs, or else they would be there. thats why this tourny has never been really popular in Canada, because we are busy watching the playoffs instead.

they should have it at a different time of year.

Totally agree with you there.
But with my Oil out of the playoff picture I'm looking for any and all forms of hockey.

did you heard it?
cze - ger 0-2

LOL!

now Czech Republic can miss play-off :)

p.s.
i spent 10 minutes for loading this page...
site slower than turtle

Three Crowns Rules...

My boys will do it again...

just opened a serious can of whoop ass on the americans and canada is still undefeated.

it was a pretty terrible game, over after the first 5 minutes

The Olympics didn't count... I don't know what the hell Gretzky was thinking. He put together a fantasy team, living legends, old men.

It was nobody's fault, it just happened to be a "limbo" period in terms of talent. The old guys were too old and the new young guys were too young and inexperienced. Nothing could really be done about the situation.

But in 2010, the young guys will be well seasoned and hopefully in their primes, so we will kick some serious ass in Vancouver.

BTW, how did we get started talking about the olympics? lol

swede68 posted the sweds with gold medals... :(

well,
did you saw CZE-RUS game?
0-4
Malkin - superstar (best goal - 4th goal)!

Morozov has injury. Our best player. Knee injury.
Will miss 1/2 final against Finland.

FIN-RUS
CAN-SWE

Let's drop the puck!

Some much for the Swedes.
