Filesonic is crap! I have had premium membership with them for 2-3 months now, they are ok for files like 50-100mb (and a 100 is a stretch), but over that they go down to 5-20kb download speed and alot, and I mean alot, of corrupted files because of the download speed and freezing downloads...

Thank you everybody. I took a hard drive repair tool from the hirens cd and runned it, it found (and supposedly fixed) ALOT of bad sectors, like 80% of the sectors where bad. I run partition magic, since it now seemed to be ok, but the program says error when I choose the external disk. I...

Ok, new info: Under diskmanagement in windows 7 it shows up, but it says its unallocated? What does that mean? This is strange, it did not show up under Vista or XP!!?? Any advice? I still cant open the drive and get to my files.

Hirens is a boot disc, so it wasnt running in windows.

Thank you to both of you for youre replyes, but as I have allready said, windows does not connect with the disk. It doesnt matter wether you use my computer or disk management. I have played around alittle with the Hirens cd and found a program that is called test disk or something like that...

Maybe I misunderstand you here, but when in comes to cookies etc, I usually go to tools in the menubar in explorer and then choose internet options, that is the same as in XP. Just remember to rightclick under the adressline and choose to show the menubar first. If this is not what you ment...

I would go for another external drive. Not that its hard to put in an internal drive but the price these days are about the same, and you dont have to hazzle with the opening of youre computer and this and that. I have started to use external disks myself, and i find that very easy and simple...
