hi,
i have converted two IP adresses with the same subnet mask to binary:

IP1=10000000.00100000.00001100.00110110
IP2=10000000.00100000.00010010.00110110
SN=11111111.11111111.11111111.11100000

can anyone tell me if the 2 networks are able to comunicate and why?

i think not, because the 2 IP addresses don't match up in the "network" portion of the addresses (first 24 bits), but i am not 100% sure on this.

thanks --amor chungo
