Export your bookmarks and stuff and then uninstall and reinstall Firefox.

I was having probably with 1.01 when it came out, so I reinstalled 1.0 and it worked fine.

Hey Mcfly,

Sometimes this works. Do remember to back up anything that you want to keep. Download CCleaner from here: http://www.ccleaner.com/ and install. Then go ahead and uninstall Firefox. Now go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox (I'm assuming your using Windows and that your apps are on drive C) and delete anything that remains in the folder. Now run CCleaner and have it delete all that it finds. Then reinstall Firefox. See if that works.

If it doesn't then this is my last recommendation: http://www.mozilla.org/support/

Hey mcfly26,

If that didn't work and you checked the mozilla support site thoroughly then I would start preparing for a reformat and reinstall. Something is screwed up. If this is the only problem your having then you don't have to do it but if you have a bunch of little stuff like this then it may be time.

Just something everyone using Firefox should be aware of. It seems a flaw has been identified in version 1.5 that "could" be used to start a buffer overflow thus a denial of service attack. It appears to be a minor flaw that Mozilla will fix in January or February. Anyway, you should at least be aware of it.
