An excellent movie! No surprise, with Jodie Foster & an awesome cast
including; Dennis Hopper, Fred Ward, Dean Stockwell, Charlie Sheen,
Joe Pesci, & Vincent Price. While also being directed by Dennis Hopper!

BTW; Jodie was a sexy 28y/o when this movie was filmed.

Maverick is recreated from the character James Garner played on the
1950s TV program. Maverick-Mel :cool: is a gambler who would rather con
someone than fight them. He needs an additional three thousand dollars
in order to enter a Winner Take All poker game that begins in a few days. He
tries to win some, tries to collect a few debts and recover a little loot for the
reward, all with a light hearted air. He then joins forces with a sexy woman gambler
with a phony southern accent, Annabelle~Jodie :razz: the two both try to enter the game...

James Garner :cool: aka, Jim Rockford stars as Maverick's father.

A good movie from start to finish, a funny and romantic look at TV's luckiest gambler.
