Video Game Thread.

Any fears i had of trading my x-box in on a ps2 is officially over now. I just got "GOD OF WAR" and its possible the baddest fucking game i ever played!

Possible next x-box. I've read that the next one named Xenon will arrive in 10 months, and will be available in 3 different upgrades as far as speed and memory. Just a computer basically. Which of course isn't good for games.

God of War saved my PS2 from the chopping block. I was about to trade the system to get more stuff for the PSP. Picked up God of War and now I'll hold onto the system forever if it pops out more gems like that.

Seriously doubt that will be the design. Microsoft learned from the mistake of the first X-Box being too bulky. They are supposed to be designing it to be closer in size to the new PS2s. They have to if they want to get the Japanese market onboard.

On a totally different note, has anyone played PC game The Movies, from LionHead Studios (designers of Black and White)? It's the first game in ages to catch my attention, I'm looking for opinions.

For those who love racing games, you gotta get "FlatOut"! Its like a cross between Colin Mcrae and Burnout. Kinda mixture between realistic and arcade. This game is the shit. You upgrade your car by buying used parts at the junk yard

I heard this shit is causing a lot of controversy.

Yeah, the rating for this game is now Adult-Only, which still won't stop many kids. I saw I think a 16-year old buy it, AFTER the rating change. I heard it might get moved back down to Mature when the fixed games come out.

With all of the crazy ass stuff that you can do in this game... the biggest concern for parents and everybody else is a little sex action? At least we get to keep killing cops and anybody else for that matter with an assortment of weapons from samurai swords to fighter jet missles.

i love this... a game that is based on criminality, where stealing cars and killing cops is not only an option, but something you pretty much have to do to get anywhere in the game, is now unavailable at many retail outlets because of something so hidden that it cannot be extracted with just the game and the console, and would remain hidden to most people who might play the game anyway... this blows..

Picked Up SOCOM III yesterday...this game rocks.

I found after i got used to sitting in the dark talking to the tv in a slightly american accent (not sure why, maybe cos the voice recognition is set that way) the first two games rocked.

Have they added much to the third or is it more of the same with better graphics and more missions?

Are ther any other special Forces/Swat type games similar thta are worth playing, I've played Ghost Recon but am looking for something with more of a room to room clearance theme. But not too hard.

The latest edition has more upgrades than I can list. If you enjoyed the the first two then GO GET THIS ONE NOW.
