who ever is for net neutrally would probably get my vote if I was an American.

I'm actually half against net neutrality. Every person should have free and unfiltered access to VIEW the internet, but there are a whole lot of people that should not be allowed to POST on the internet.

Blogs and social networking will be the downfall of civilization. In the future, remember I called it.

When people start using moonspeak in real life, not saying words fully or abbreviating every damn thing, there's a problem. I've heard people on my campus saying "epic fail" and shit like that all the time. Texting and myspace, and now facebook have all made people retarded.

yeah what's all this new language that's popping up due to Internet and gamers! I'm hearing people yelling out "that's one for facebook" everytime they take a picture! With Fail and Epic Fail being thrown into conversations about everyhing from breaking up with girlfriends to dropping their phones down the toilet! I'm waiting for my boss to promote me to L337 assistant or to find out I've ranked up!!

I think Obama will win , and I hope he does. But I would like to see a change in is Congress ! And if I can't get that then my second wish would be that McCain win just to see if , Heidi Klum and Seal, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins would leave the US. And see if Tina Faye would really leave Earth . Cause I don't think whoever is elected, will get us out of this recession.

I dont know why people keep talking about a recession. Now that the Canadian dollar is down to 80 cents again, I'm making lots of money LOL.

I was doing worse when the economy was "strong" and the CAD more valuable.

Boom,

Aren't you in Kansas or Missouri? I think I'd kind of expect that over there.

I'm in Omaha for college actually, my college is supposedly very liberal, even more shocking since it's a catholic school. But I'm just amazed at the sheer number of them. And, Missouri at least, the main cities like KC, St. Louis, and even Springfield, tend to be Democrat, while the rural areas in the rest of the state are Republican.

Except that Sarah Palin actually has more experience running a government (local in this case) than Obama has.

Yes but experience doesn't come into it, I hate the person she is, she is a complete cunt in my eyes, I will actually be worried for the world if she gets that sort of power. So even if she had experience of running a government for 20 years and Obama had 2, I would still prefer to see Obama win.

This explains the obamafornication of America. Socialism does not work.

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade in 2000. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot. The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother. The day arrived when they were to make their speeches Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Every one applauded. He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise. She said, 'If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream.' She sat down. The class went wild. 'Yes!Yes! We want ice cream. ' She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a land slide.

Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, and 60% percent of America reacts like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other 40% percent know they're going to have to feed the cow.

Here's something else for yall to chew on.

"You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence.

You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves."

Some employees are going to be surprised if alot of business owners respond like this guy plans to.... ;)

October 24, 2008

Dear Fellow Business Owners

As a business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama will be our next president, and that my taxes and fees will go up in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Customer will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about 8-10%.

I will also have to lay off six of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and didn't know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did. I strolled thru the parking lot and found eight Obama bumper stickers on my employee’s cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.

I can't think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.

Sorry Tex,

Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, and 60% percent of America reacts like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other 40% percent know they're going to have to feed the cow.

I don't buy it. And how, exactly, is that any different than the last eight years? The US is now in debt to the point where nobody knows how much we owe. Are there any bankers going to prison for the mess they've gotten us in? How much do our kids now owe to the Chinese, east Indians and who knows whom else?

Its been almost eight years and where's Bin Laden? Planning who knows what, at his leisure, somewhere in Pakistan or Afghanistan? Bush and his ilk have been a disgrace. And should go straight to jail for their incompetence alone.

$10 Billion per month in Iraq? For what? What???? What???? Obama will get most of those troops out of there but will have to put a good percentage of them in Afghanistan. He'll have to finish (hopefully) the problem that the Bush criminal gang took their eye off of. Another reason they should all go to jail.

The only promise I've heard Obama make is to raise taxes on those making over $250,000 annually. After the last eight years, I think they can afford it.

I do know I wouldn't want to be Obama right now. He's going to have one hell of a hard job getting this country back on track. I wouldn't want to be him right now.

If a nation can change then maybe the world can change, I can change.

Part of me never though this day would come - the scared 14 year old boy who spent may hours being beaten up and intimidated by those of black or African American desent didn't want this day to come but after years of arguing, of complaining, of hating it is the young and the minorities that have come forward and slapped me in the face. They have repeated my own words to me - things need to change or life gets boring! Well now we have change. I hope that he can help the world to change and if not well....he better have a lot of ice cream.

People are so happy and Obama hasn't done a god damn thing except become the new puppet in the white house. How about a wait and see approach.

The only promise I've heard Obama make is to raise taxes on those making over $250,000 annually. After the last eight years, I think they can afford it.

Lets look at this in general terms assuming earnings are based on AGI.

Obama't tax plan is to increase the tax rate on those earning $250,000 or more by 3.6% which is $9,000. This group represents roughly 5% of the tax payers in America. The other 95% will see a decrease in their tax rate by an average of $1,000 a year(ICE CREAM).

Now lets apply this to a cross section of the population by using 1,000,000 people.

5% of 1,000,000 is 50,000 tax payers multiplied by $9,000 equals $450,000,000 into the Treasury.

95% of 1,000,000 is 950,000 tax payers multiplied by $1,000 equals $950,000,000 leaving the Treasury(on Ice Cream Trucks)

That is a difference of $500,000,000. How will he fund his programs and balance the budget when his plan starts out in the hole? The only way is to raise taxes on those making less than $250,000 annually. My guess is in order for him to do this he will need to increase taxes by 3% on those making $70,000 or more annually. Get your check books out folks.

On a positive note I am glad that just 40+ years removed from the Civil Rights Movement this county has elected a person of color the Office of President. I just wish it wasn't him.
