ImageShack - Legal or illegal

This is only to hear from you what you guys advise me to do....

Some 6 weeks ago i found that IS is (without my permission) resolving my History if i click one of their thumbs.
This means that my history (URL's) is been looked at and what they do with it is unknown.
Microsoft and Netscape (i don't know about FF) has stopped this feature about 15 years ago because there were privacy-issues.

I have send emails to IS but they never respond.

I went to the police because i don't want those guys to see which sites i have visited before i came to them. I don't want anybody to peek into my PC for that info.
The police told me to get a lawyer.
The lawyer told me : if you want to bring IS to court it will cost you about 2000 Euro's.

Is there anybody who can help me solve this issue ?

o, and i found a scrncap, look at the popup in the background, it has a familiar url in it and someone ones asked me if i am sure that it is not the name of the guys doing the add, i have to ask the Mods and/or admin : "Have you (nudecelebforum.com) advertised (ever)on Imageshack"?
I know the answer is no but i have to ask

The police? You went to the police? About an internet site that didn't contain child porn or pictures of people killing other people. Wow.

Something is changed, i never get warned and just get the add.
