cman,

cnn.com international edition is my home page. They're designed for 800 like everyone else. Every now and then I flip over to the US edition of cnn. Today I noticed they've just redesigned it for 1024. As far as I know, they're the first major web site to be completely designed for 1024. I know some web pages are really 800 with an extra sort of side bar on the right, but this is completely 1024. See it here, http://us.cnn.com/

as technology improves, refresh rates are getting lower too. i guess thats supposed to be better, probably saves power.

1024 x 768, although the box says it can support bigger (if try bigger, the screen will start scrolling)

1280x768 (16:9) at home.
1680x1050 (16:9) monitor 1 and 1280x1024 monitor 2 at work.

I have dual monitors also but my 2nd is 1280x1050 not widescreen
