I'm wondering which image viewing software everyone here uses and/or prefers the most, specifically for viewing JPG files. This question is targeted to desktop/laptop PC users. Mac users & smartphone users: I don't care! Also, what are the pros/cons of this software you prefer?

I use ACD See v. 3.0

Pros:
  • loads quickly
  • opens all image types (even animated GIFs)
  • simple clean interface
  • has slideshow feature
  • allows use of mouse wheel to scroll through images inside of a directory
  • has built-in simple editing feature (to crop, resize, rotate)

Cons:
  • cannot read Japanese characters in filenames, results in application crash
  • cannot save over images when using built-in editing feature, program crashes

faststone image viewer.

*has a smoothing filter so the pics arnt like they are with vista,win7 or win 8 default viewer which is very pixelated on zoom.
*uses mousewheel scroll through/zoom aswell as keys
*ability to add different external editors
*has a built in editor feature with lossless jpg functions (that i dont really use much)
*custom interface themes & colors

cons:
i find it doesnt really have any as it does what i want it to do

When I first started using Windows 7, I was annoyed to find out that it doesn't display animated GIFs the way XP does.
I'm just using the default viewer for JPG files.
