YES, I was just about to say him. His special on Comedy Central alone is some funny stuff. Repeats, but I like them:
Dave Atell(show alone is funny)
Richard Pryor(The God of Comedians)

Chappelle is pretty funny, so are Attell and Black as someone already said. Jim Norton is fucking hilarious - he doesnt have much stuff out except for a cd i think. He's one angry fucker as you can probably tell by his website www.eatabullet.com.

Ive only found 2 files off P2P of Norton but if they show any Tough Crowd reruns, hes pretty funny in them.

A comedian currently touring the US is Dave Gorman. Whilst not a traditional stand up comedian he is funny and he does stand up for almost the whole show, he proved this during his 150 date UK tour.

His current tour is about his Googlewhack adventures [sb put this book in the Fave Books section back in September].

For those not in the know Googlewhacking is quite a simple sounding idea whereby you visit leading search engine www.google.com (this is a search engine available for free to all web users to find web sites about certain subjects, such as Famous Women [i thought i needed to mention this as i believe some newer members are still under the belief that Exp0sed and it's members are in fact the worlds number 1 search engine for this sort of thing  ]) and type in 2 words. These words must be covered by dictionary.com and the aim of google whacking is to find only one site of aroud 3 billion containing those two words. My first googlewhack was "rambunctiousness" "odour" http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=rambunctiousness+odour&meta= [without speech marks] which took 32 minutes for me to find. (you can find out more about googlewhacking at www.googlewhack.com )

Anyway BOT Dave undertook a quest to find a sequence of people across the world to find 2 googlewhacks each and then to meet all of them in a 10 person chain. His success or failure in his endeavours is the lavish story you see and hear at the gig.

Ticket information and more a deeper introduction on daves interesting and hilarious story can be found at http://www.davegorman.com/ and if you like the idea but can't get to a show buy the DVD its funny and theres a screensaver on it and stuff.

Opie and Anthony used to have all of the best comics on their show. Since they are coming BACK soon, I expect that to continue. Regan was great on that show but Jim Norton was just the funniest thing I've ever heard (the limited standup I've heard of his doesn't measure up). Jim Bruer was great on that show too as was Jay Mohr when he wasn't plugging his own shit too hard.

Look for Opie Anthony clips on P2P networks - expecially the ones with Bruer.
fuck those stern wanna be's

Just saw Larry the Cable Guy live... fucking awesome!(as usual) I also recommend the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Gotta agree with the Texan about Rodney Carrington, too. "I thank God almighty for titties and beer."

TYO,

I understand that you live in Philly and I'm zeroing in on your address. I want to meet you so that I may stick your head between my pecs and pop it like a zit.

PS. Socks are funny as fuck.
