Born in Australia. I am from Melbourne.
Love the country, I can argue that it is the best country in the world.
However, my family blood hails from Ireland, Scotland, Germany, England and Denmark. I am a 5th Generation Aussie.
All Countries with proud, good tasting beers, therefore I am proud to be associated with them.

Has anyone really traced their roots to find specific ancestors? I got my family name back to a Byzantine Emperor who came from the town where my Great Grandfather was born. I am likely the offspring of his "special needs" stable-boy half-brother, but it was still pretty cool to read. The Anglo-Irish-Scotch side is really easy to trace back hundreds of years.
