Just read this on the AP news wire & thought it should be posted.
A body retrieved from from Lake Piru in California by divers using sonar equipment has been identified as 33 year old Naya Rivera.
Former Glee star Rivera,33, was reported missing last Wednesday after her 4 year old son was discovered alone and asleep on the boat the two of them took out for a trip.
At a news conference on the shore of the lake on Monday, Sheriff Bill Ayub of the Ventura County Sheriff Department said police were "confident" the body was that of Rivera.
He added that there was no indication of foul play or that she took her own life.
Rivera's son told police they had gone swimming but she never returned. He is reported to have said he saw her disappear under the water.
After a massive search and rescue operation found no trace of Rivera, police moved to a "search and recovery operation" and a body was retrieved yesterday morning
