I am not a blind American drone. Thousands have died, but that's not the scary part. First off it is highly contagious. Spreading faster than common flu. Hundreds of thousands of ppl are infected and that number grows steadily along with the percent at witch ppl become infected. (watch any lame zombie movie, same concept)

It is being dummed down so your not worried about it. The official count of infected is unknown. They are testing for it with a flu test witch has false reads of 30-40%.

It is happening right now. I believe fear mongering Has been used in the past, hell 9/11 is the biggest example to date. This, however, isn't being played as such.

I agree with you on the fear thing, I just don't think that is what there doing. Yes, microbiological life dose mutate naturally over time, witch leads to a loss of immunities. As a result people or wild life die's. This process takes hundreds of years to accrue naturally.

What I really want to stress is this isn't a naturally accruing Virus. It is a bio engineered Frankenstein super virus. It was designed to infect something like 95% of the population with a death rate at around the same as the flu we know of. Most of the confirmed deaths are of a secondary infection, meaning you get the normal flu, swine, and some kind of bronculuar infection.

I think because most of us do believe that 9/11 was an inside job, as well as some of the other less known bombings like the one in the uk metro. We are saying "fuck me once shame on you, fuck me twice shame on me". I haven't talked to anyone to date that is as worried about this as I am. No one is doing anything. Not that much can be done. I just wanna inform ppl that this is not a joke, or something to shrug off. In the u.s. "fema" has hundreds of thousands of coffins stalk piled. as well as thousands of "camps" set up all acrossed the states.

I realize I may be full of it and just over reading into things, but I am seldomly wrong. This post just confirms what I believe. No one is reacting to this as a serious threat.

This is not bio terrorism this is biowarfare. We are the target.

There are more than one reason I brought this here. First off I read many of the threads and there are many smarter people here. Not that there aren't just as many dumb asses. The second reason is because this is the discussion thread and not a nude pic thread. Another is I wanted a fairly clean place(free of spammers and government officials) full of real people from all over the planet. Sex is the most used venue on the net. lastly because other forums suck ass!

Honestly there cant be a wrong place to discus this, it is world wide effecting every human on the planet. I was hoping to engage the smarter people in this forum in a real life or death conversation. I only asked a question, I did not make you open it up, nor did I ask weather you thought it was worthy. I will admit that when the news of this new flu hit, I got a bit skeptical about the circumstances seeing as how the economy was finally starting to recover, but I'm not too worried about it. I am not sure what you meant by the economy recovering, last I herd unemployment is still on the rise along with foreclosures. I really don't follow the stock market, and economics much.

I think what boom meant by the economy is recovering is that although the unemployment is still on the rise but the recession is slowing down.

It's still in bad shape, but the stock market here is slowly recovering, gas prices are going up which is a good sign (not for me, but I guess I can sacrifice for the health of the economy), and my dad's airline job is still there. As far as 9/11, I'll admit that I got a little swept away with the "truth" movement. I still think there are a lot of things the government isn't telling us. The whole Pentagon situation is weird (why won't they release any of the other security tapes?) along with all the inconsistencies about a plane strike there, when there was almost no debris and a missle-sized hole in the walls...but I digress. I do find it funny that most of the public sees the government as mismanaged as hell, yet a lot of those same people think there was some massive cover up and secret plot that would involve so many people that it would be difficult at best to keep everything quiet...but I digress again. As far as this flu goes, I'm not going to get too concerned unless it starts breaking out again in our flu season. Even then, if you stay relatively healthy, then you should be fine.

This swine flu "epidemic" is not something the US public needs to worry about, as long as they use some common sense practices - like keeping clean, washing hands, knowing the symptoms and seeking medical help if those symptoms appear.

If you look at the government map, you see people contracting the flu, but very few deaths (at the most 7 or 8? in all 50 states). That's because people are seeking medical attention and beating the flu. The few deaths are due to people with low immune systems and/or other reasons not involving the flu.

Death is higher in countries with little to no health care because they're not getting the medication they need (for various reasons) and have low immune systems (also due to various reasons). For them, things would look grim without intervention from other non-third world countries, but that relief is happening.

Until the death rates in first-world countries increase to concerning numbers, I'm not going to worry and I'm not going to consider this flu any worse than most viruses that appear. It's the "epidemic" flavor of the month, it's being overhyped and within a few years, we'll have another virus for the media and Truthers to blow out of proportion.

If you don't agree with me, fine. Continue on with your arm waving and fear mongering.
