I still do not get, why ** DEAD LINK REMOVED ** & Rapidgator isn't just made main hosts.
They are without doubt the two biggest,fastest, and most reliable filehosts out there today, and the ones the most people already have a premium account for.
This whole filelocker game is far from over, 100s of new hosts spawn up every month, with the majority being closed in the same timespan.
The so called cashwhores are not the ones that use UL or RG consistently, but those that jumps on any new host, and change their links accordingly whenever.
Why do think they do this? New site = no one have an account, and thus more chance of sales.
Then a ban/limit is made by forum admins, which is then the time they move on to the next host, the only ones losing from this is the downloaders/leechers.
IMO it would make it alot easier for both downloaders and uploaders, to make UL or RG as required (main) hosts for every post (The few true free hosts left, such as ** DEAD LINK REMOVED **,Putlocker & Mediafire etc. could be added to main options aswell), and at the same time make mirrors obligatory, without specific host requirements (except none of them allowed to be premium only hosts/links).
This would mean, less dead links, less work for the mods, and more importantly that every file in every post, would be available to every forum member with just one account needed, just as it was back when everyone had a rapidshare account, and that was the standard.
