Let's not forget Carlos Mancia

Just bought tickets to see him over here in September.

back onto the subject. Jay Mohr is a very funny, very under-rated comedian.

Russell Peters.... He's an indo-canadian comic. Does awesome accents and pokes fun at aspects of different cultures. Can't find any vid's of him but I'm sure there's tons of mp3's on Shareza. I'll see what I can find..

Jim Gaffigan is my favorite by far. I also like Pablo Francisco, Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, etc.

Stand-up

Coming from a British perspective, I'd have to say that some really good stand-ups are:

Jack Dee
Lee Evans
Bill Bailey
Pablo Francisco (i love his movie voice one)
Ricky Gervais
Peter Kay

Obviously, there are some really good American comedians (yes, i know that pablo is one) but i kind of limited it to my favs.

I love Chappelle, but I have to agree with theWho, Eddie Izzard is by far one of the funniest comedians I've ever seen. Very dry, witty humor.

I totally agree with you on Eddie. He was great in his HBO (I think)show where he dressed in drag.

Another one I really enjoyed was a guy named Ron Shock. He did a stand up he called "Bad Gig Blues". A thin southern guy with some very funny stories. His Homepage below.

I can't beleive nobdy mentioned Jimmy Carr. Brit dead-pan comedy. He's brilliant.
If you can find Rodney Dangerfield's old stuff that's good too.

Found some new ones that I havent heard here, thanks
