Well, I just know that I won't be buying one anytime soon as Cingular is lousy for what I do. They seem to be OK as long as your in a big city and along the interstate, but out in the sticks your constantly roaming (the same as Sprint). So it will be a while (if ever) before I buy one.

You are totally right. But they are still really famous and favourites of many people, right. Besides, it's like the whole TV Network was supplied with a lot of models during the Season of 2005-2006. Nearly every character in nearly every series had one. My favourite Agent Mahone (Prison Break, the current season (2) ) has one, too. :banana:

Just kidding. But the RAZR was the first one which was really a success.


And about the iPhone. Sony Ericsson and Nokia are REALLY big here in Western Europe, so I am thrilled about their upcoming products in Fall/Winter 2007. I am sure they'll blast the iPhone.

Personally, i reckon that the iphone will do okay, but not great. It'll be a market leader in terms of technology, which other companies (*cough* sony-erricsson and nokia *cough*) will improve from or try to emulate.
The main thing is that apple have let cingular have a monopoly which means no competition, which means that the price will stay high and the people who want one, will not be able to afford one.

I decided that I dont like Iphones. Mostly because of the touch screen. Imagine what they will look like after a few months of use.

Also iphone sucks... FACT: You CANNOT activate that peace of shit phone without itunes... and guess what? apple doesn't give a shit if itunes dont work on vista/xp... in fact id guess that they go out of there way to cause issues so people who fell for the iphone might be stupid enough to get a mac.

Ive had mine for two months and i love it. The people that seem to hate it most have never used it. I think most people hate it just because its apple, and people hate over hyped products.

I don't hate apple. I love my Ipod and its probably one of the best things I ever bought. Much better than carrying a whole backpack full of CDs around lol.

That said, I've had my Ipod for a while now and its getting scratched to shit lol. Not huge scratches, but its definetely not in mint condition. So I assume Iphones would be even worse.

Huh, if thats true, that really sucks.

I also heard something disturbing about the iphone but don't know if its true. Supposedly, the phone has to be sent back to Apple to replace the battery? I hear that there is currently no easy way for the battery to be replaced so they all have to be sent back into the manufacturer after about a year (the approximate life span of the battery).

If thats true, I can imagine there are going to be some really pissed off people when those batteries have to be replaced.

It is pretty ridiculous that you can't change the battery yourself, and then have to pay for a loaner phone!

I don't own but I'm aware of the faults that come with the iPhone bacause of my time using an iPod.
OK so the battery dies and you can do anything about that! I won't be able to carry all of my song on it because the memory just isnt big enough - Ok I'll just have a random playlist to be honest it's impossible to listen to all my songs in one day so theres no point in carry around all my songs!

I'm getting iPhone because I like my gadgets, I believe in the Apple name and I'm sick of carry around my phone and my iPod - There was and will be more and more things that are found to be wrong with the product because well we're all human and were not happy unless we can find shit that goes wrong with the 'dream product' whatever it maybe. Does it stop us from buying it? No because it's like going after that dream it doesnt matter how many pot holes or traps there are your still gonna go full steam for it because you want it that badly.
