Canada beat the US at baseball.

I repeat, CANADA BEAT THE US AT BASEBALL

It ended 8-6, thanks to a US grand slam, but at one point it was 8 - 0 for Canada.

I didn't even know it was on, I just happened to tune in, late in the game. Its equivalent if not worse than the US beating Canada at hockey (which they rarely do)

LOL, I hope that was sarcastic. If not, its a huge cop out.

I haven't watched baseball in several years (I used to when I was a kid), so I'm not up on all the good players, but I know the US had such players as ARod, Jeter, Varitek, Jones and big time guys like that.

Somewhat, but still, it was ONE game. But don't hold your breath, two current Royals are starting for Canada, so that can't be good. I say the Dominican team will win. They just have too much offense. Their team would be the greatest fantasy team, I think.

Don't get me wrong, I am in no way expecting Canada to do well. In fact, I didn't even know Canada was IN this tournament. I just think this was awesome.
