I have a folder that has a bunch of pics and movie clips in it. The properties say that there is over 5 gig of data but when I try to open a clip it say "file not found" If I try and open a pic it says " no preview available" The individual files were originally password protected but it is not asking for a password.I am using xp pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

got me, maybe try renaming the files to whatever format they where protected as.
for example( pic.jpg back to pic.zip )
Sounds like data corruption somewhere like the file headers. That of course is just a guess.
It is only 5 gigs worth that's easily one fap night for me.
