NFL (Pats Still Rule)

'least it was a close one, though....and ya can't get much closer than that. Lotsa turnovers for both teams though....that part sucked.

Wow, The Cardinals must be calling it a season because they are starting John Navarre on Sunday in the D. The sad thing is they actually have a chance at beating the Lions because the Lions just suck. I really could not stand Navarre as our QB at Michigan, I do like him much better as the QB for the Arizona Cardinals.

Who do Patriots get to destroy this week? Ahhh Yesss the coach-less Cleveland Browns. Oh, I know any given Sunday and all that jive, but the great Tom Brady will lead the Champs to victory again. Corey will go for about 150 yards, fer sure dude.

The Eagles get to take on the Pack on sunday, this is probably the best match-up in the weak ass NFC this week. Donovan and T.O. will prevail.

I'm so sorry DBfan but you broncs will not be making the play-offs this year because they will not get past the surging Bolts from San Diego.

I could be wrong but I doubt it.

Yea, you're wrong...;) You just don't know it yet.

The sad part about the Cleveland v. NE game is this:

I almost guarantee they play better with an assistant coach running the team than they have in 5 years with Davis.

There is no cure for a 5 game losing streak, like John Navarre. The Lions actually won a game. granted it was against one of the shittiest teams out there. But hey, a W is a W. Kevin Jones rushed for 196 yards, a new Lions record. I am done defending him, Joey Harrington needs to go. He just plain sucks the balls.

The Eagle rolled up the Pack and smoked their asses. Donovan had 5 TD's in the first half. That was an offensive explosion

The Patriots started off the game by kicking the Browns ass. Bethel Johnson had a 93 kick-off return for a touchdown. Nice. And you know the great Tom Brady would lead the to victory once again, with a little help from his friends.

I must say I am impressed with the play of Ben Roethlisberger. He drove the ball down very quickly and efficiently in the last two minutes of the game vs, the Jags last night. He now has the rookie record of 10 wins in a row. Too bad he couldn't beat Michigan.

Yeah, thats what I thought.
I used to like the Broncos back when they had Griese at the helm, but they fucked up letting him go. As long as Jake the Snake is the QB in Denver, the Broncs are going nowhere.

DBfan you are just blinded by your loyalty to your team.

Elway is not coming back.

Shanahan was a genius with Elway, what do you call him now?

I know what I call him, a jackass.

That had to be the most pathetic half of football by one team in years. Everyone talking up my packers like they were sposed to be contenders. They havent beaten anyone yet. Eagles looking like they wil roll right through the nfc .

The Bears stomped the Viks on Sunday. Culpepper looked anemic against the return of Urlacher. Looks like they found an additional saving grace in Chad Hutchinson. He's their fourth starting quarterback THIS SEASON (after Krenzel, Quinn, and Grossman). The NFC North is a total tossup. I'm looking forward to the Jaguars game. Who's a Jacksonville fan? What's their deal?

What are you talking about.... the NFC in general is a toss up (I exclude the Eagles and Falcons from that). I am about as big of Bears fan as anyone else but you have to be reasonable. Yes we have a shot of getting to the playoffs but it will be as the wild card not the NFC North Champs. As much as I hate to say it the Pack will once again reign supreme over the division. Sure they stumbled a bit this week but every team will do that and they by far have the talent to win.

And as far as Hutch goes lets not talk about that just yet. I hope he can continue on and lead the bears to more wins but don't u think its a little premature. Come'on Krenzle had moments that he looked good and I realize that hutch had more than a moment.

As far as being the 4th quarterback the Bears have had this season what can u expect. Grossman goes down with his injury so we get Quinn. He's only there cause he knows the "system" THERE IS A REASON HE IS A CAREER SECOND STRINGER!! And Krenzle is a rookie you can not expect that much out of a rookie quarterback (Ben Rothelsberger excluded he seems to be some sort of freak of nature).

All I can really say is that I really hope there is a quarterback contraversy next preseason.

I think that a Quarterback controversy can be the best thing for a team, sometimes. It will make both quarterbacks work harder, so they can be starter, which will make them a better quarterback during the season. It can lead to upset players, however. :(

WOOO HOO!!! 49ers Are 2 - 11! I Hate Erickson...Hopefully The Bitch Gets Fired.

I heard he might leave, some college coaching job, and the organization wants him to fire a lot of his staff.

Ugh...you were right. I take back what I said. Da Bears suck.

I apologize for getting so worked up over one lousy victory. While I still think Chad Hutchinson is a fine quarterback, our offensive line, secondary, and wide outs lost this one for us.

Looks like I'm just another prototypical Chicago sports fan, desperately hoping for a good season from my favorite teams. Hey, at least the Bulls ruled the 90s. Good times.

I dont think that the dolphins could play any better than they did yesterday, and yet still find a way to lose.

CHARGERS 2004 AFC WEST CHAMPIONS............WOO HOO
my xmas present is waking up up the day after xmas and watching the CHARGERS vs. COLTS.
GONNA BE A GOOD + HIGH SCORING GAME.

The Eagles can never win the superbowl without T.O.!!! They can win the championship game cuz everyone else sucks, but they can't beat the pats or steelers in the super bowl. Bad luck for them.

They gotta actually GET to the bowl before they worry about whether they can win it or not. And as the last 3 years has shown us, even though they should get there, doesn't necessarily mean they will.

what is this, your one post for that week. thats what it seems like anymore.

T.O. is supposed to be back for the Superbowl, blu and sting. Now, a T.O. on the bench for the past 6 weeks sucks, but its still better than fredex and pinky, hell, lob T.O.'s leg off and he's still worlds on top of them. i wish the eagles had made an attempt to get rice though, hes still making some rice-like catches in seattle, who doesnt use him to his potential, nor anyone else for that matter

That MNF game was GREAT. The Patriots losing is always a great thing. Brady with not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR interceptions. Damn. That must suck.
