Pics from Flash

Hi,

I just wanted to know is there a way to download/get pictures from flash galleries? I currently do it by print screen and paint. Is there an easier way?

This works for firefox or firefox-based browsers(IE. Flock), the add-on is called Screengrab! It's pretty awesome. You can get the entire webpage that you're on if you wanted to. It's what I use.

OK...as I've found out that this add-on does not work when Print-Screen is disabled. Any of you know how I can get the pictures when Print Screen is disabled?

This may be rather cumbersome but you can download the .swf file (easily done vie firefox) and use Flash Decompiler to turn it back into an .fla file.
From that you should not only have ALL of the pics associated with the flash site but also the fonts/shapes/buttons/sounds/etc.

Again, cumbersome, but it gets the job done...


Edit: I have yet to try this on just a gallery but if it works on flash sites in general I think it should work here, too.

Yes, it did.

Screen grab will do it-i can get picture and edit or record as movie-seems
to be trouble free so far- i have sure shot add on-also have faststone
all work fine with firefox
