Planetsuzy Status

Tried getting on, getting a bad gateway. Pulled it up on isitdownforeveryone and yeah it's down. Anyone got any news on this? This seems to occur a bit too often. I just don't know how long it last.

Sorry no news, all our vbulletin sites are down but the ones that have been updated to xenforo are working. I wish they would hurry up and get the other sites updated too.

Down again rofl wtf. Whatever their issues are with their hosting they need to fix it or get a new one :/ Also wouldn't hurt to clean the tons of threads with absolutely horrid low quality pics.

Yup it is. I think this site shares the same servers. So if this is up, psuzy can't be far behind..

That hosting service is for garbage, then. VEF has had 502 problems for the past six months, this outage is by far the worst.

Been using PS for nearly 10 yrs and this is the longest it has been 502. Something really bad must've happened to its area of the server for it to been down this long.

I have been told that Planetsuzy should be online within 12 - 24 hours.

The main server that hosts configurations for the hypervisors, which run the forums and support@ email client, became corrupted. The database integrity still is in question; some data may have been lost. We will not know for sure until the forum is online and the index is rebuilt.

No need to ask for additional information; this is everything I have been told.

Just now I was told that they still are working to rebuild the db's for Planetsuzy and VEF. Last estimate of 12 - 24 hours seems to have been premature. Sorry for the false hope.

I just received this message from our System Admin:

"Cross your fingers hopefully we can be online today. We have restored the backup, haven't tried the actual site but everything works so far. We need to make backups to prevent issues in the future. Can't guarantee that it will be 100% live today, but most probably it will"

Well, we've gone from a 502 to a "403 Forbidden" page, not sure if that's progress or not.

So what's VEF? Is that another forum similar to psuzy and this one?

Planetsuzy is restored, but not yet public; I saw it an hour ago! However, VEF still has some issues. According to our Chief Technology Officer, the engineers are moving Planetsuzy to a different server so they can continue working on VEF when Planetsuzy goes live in a few hours from now. Please do not hold me to that time-line. I am telling you only what has been told to me.

VEF (Vintage Erotica Forum) is a sister site to PlanetSuzy, it's main theme is vintage porn, which is anything produced before 1996, but there is a modern section for newer material, and 3 large celebrity sections., here's a link, that will work when the site is back up...
