I thought itd be a good idea to have a thread on all tv shows. Feel free to talk about any.

I'll get the ball rolling; Did anyone see Arrested Development last night? It has to be the single funniest show ever. I almost wet my pants when portia de rossi's character(forget her name) says "I can't seem to give this away" when Ice walks out.
 
I've been watching the new series of Smallville via the net, and I'm really enjoying it. Especially the episode where Lana, Chloe and Lois got turned into witches. :twisted:

I think it's one of the better series as they always make good use of dramatic irony and the effects are pretty good too. I think im gonna get the series 1-3 boxed set when it comes out over here.
 
i stopped watching smallville last season. i remember it was really good but then i think the amazing race came on and the amazing race trumped it. then i just missed too much and fell out of the loop. from what i remember it was exceptional.
 
We've just had our first episode of "4400" on cable here. Hot shit for a first ep. Looks promising ... just hope its doesn't become stale like "Kingdom Hospital" which lost its novelty mid-season.
 
i think it does, i didnt watch it but i frequent usa(thats what channel its on, right? also do you have usa in singapore?) and i see no more comercials for it. maybe itll be big there though
 
The cable channels here are a little diff from yours. My fav channel here is AXN which hosts only action and thriller series and movies like 24, Alias, Boomtown, CSIs and the like.
 
i guess thats like our USA. it has monk(fanominal show) law and order svu(good enough to be bashed by cman, i like the show however) and then rock/ sly stallone/indy jones movies every other day.
 
I watched up to the second series of Alias but then they showed the 3rd series on Digital Tv and I don't have that :(
I'll have to catch up with it since it was one of my favourite series, I like the fact it was all one story line through all the episodes.
 
I love Alias. The 4th season is starting about a month from now (January 5th).
 
I dont watch much TV, but every time I turn on the tv and my girl wants to see the Real World, I have to turn it off. Im from philly and they are there and its so stupid. Worse than any other, for I am not against gays, but why have 2 on there, 2 girls who arent good looking, one who has implants, wow.
 
We never had The Real World in the UK. What exactly do the people on it do? Do the cameras just follow them in their normal lives or do they have to do set things? The title makes it sound pretty boring, like Big Brother.
 
pretty much they take a group of people and put them in some random city (giving them jobs too).... and the cameras just follow them around in their lives
 
I was fliping around a few weeks ago, and on Adult Swim, Squidbillies. Tha had to be the funniest shit I had seen on T.V. in a long time. But, I have not seen it on their since. Damn Funny.
 
Arrested Development rules, altho I only started watching it very recently. Which is suprising since I'm a huge David Cross fan. (Portia's not that bad either) :lol:...

... and someone call Cartoon Network and tell them to hurry up and get the new season of Family Guy out.

Yeah, the old ones are great, but after a while, you know too much of them.
I LOVE Arrested Development. I have watched every single episode, and it is one of, if not, the best show on T.V. Hope it has a LONG run on FOX.

You mean like when you own them all on DVD and watched them endlessly for an entire summer? :lol:... there's still some parts that still make me laugh... it was an AWESOME show. I'm so stoked it's coming back from cancellation (first show to do that).

Yeah, It is still very funny, like Simpson's reruns, they never die.
 
"Shorties"!! or Shorties watching shorties? :? Funniest shit. They take all the comic stand-up audio and make cartoons acting it out!! If you haven't seen it, do so cause you'll be rollin.
