OK, I posted in a picture thread so this would be noticed, but it was ignored and deleted, so I'll try here now that I am not the only person who sees the problem. JSlater's posts using http://www.uppix.info don't work for me. I can see the thumbs, but when I click on them, a page opens but no image comes up. I have tried this on multiple browsers.

Can we do something about this, like banning uppix? I'm missing a lot of good images, and I am betting I am not the only one.

I have this same problem. I don't know what the answer is, but I found a way around it that at least allows me to see the images.

Let the Uppix page load, then remove from the URL everything from "ViewerB" to the "=", and hit enter.

So using the following URL as an example:

http://www.uppix.info/Pics/ViewerB.php?file=S1/1389_33419_Lauren_Conrad_cfvdvs00007_122_8lo.jpg

would become:

http://www.uppix.info/Pics/S1/1389_33419_Lauren_Conrad_cfvdvs00007_122_8lo.jpg


It's a pain in the ass, but it works for me.

Thanks for the info, but I don't see why we should have to jump through these hoops when there are a number of better options for people to use.

I have the same problem so I just skip threads when I see JSlater is last to post in it.
I think uppix should be banned too though cause it sucks and you're right upnorth, we shouldn't have to do that for each pic.

I've made a thread about it too. I've tried everything. I've tried adblockers, switching browsers, nothing works. Yes I can block out ads but NO pics.

I dunno what you are doing but i do as follows:

If i click a thumb
sometimes
The url changes into some other url or a blank page appears or whatever.

If you think you are not presented the big image or it takes more than 3 seconds just click the white/red close cross at the righttop corner.
Now click the thumb again.
The picture must load within seconds now.

It works for me with almost any hoster.
