Want to upload a few, rare scenes. But there are embedded in full movies.
What is a good, free and easy tool to cut mpg and avi files?
 
i don't know about free, but the best program overall is Adobe Premiere.

you might be able to do something with Windows Movie Maker
 
Premier is good, so is final cut, imovie, avid express.
 
i know there is this software SUPER but i dont know whther it can be used or cutting video .

there is another one too StreamRipper
 
I've used VirtualDub to do this. Doesn't work with all files, but it definitely helps in the trimming department.

It's free, quick, pretty easy and the results are quite good.

Just be sure to change the compression method from default which is 'uncompressed'...it'll eat up your hard drive in no time (approx 1gb per minute of video)
