VLC and screenshots???....

VLC and screenshots???....I used to have a VLC player that made the big screenshots verry easy..(lost it somewere...lol)..but the one I have now,makes my VLC player suddenly go black and out when I try to make a sreenshot....and that pisses me off real good...lol...could you guy's help me out please??...or recomend a player that does make the big screenshots....Would be a big thanks in advance.....
