Your favorite TV character

Name a character or two that is your all time favorite. I have one that stands out in my mind.

Michael J. Fox as Alex P. Keaton in Family Ties. He was just the best while playing this character. The king of the one liners.

I guess it comes down to Tony Soprano and Homer Simpson

I always liked the guy who played Dan Rather on the news... he was almost life-like.

I also dug Alan Alda as Hawkeye on "M*A*S*H" and John Laroquette as Dan Fielding on "Night Court".

Woody Harrelson as Woody Boyd in "Cheers"

Seriously, I always liked Tim Allen as Tim Taylor on Home Improvement. Funny show early on.

I'll second that. Also not sure some if you'll all know the show but The Office's DAVID BRENT is funny as hell. Check out the original The Office (Brit one) if you get a chance.

Avtually I forgot about the UK comedy series Red Dwarf.. Lister, Rimmer, The Kat and Kryton are just about the 4 funniest characters I ever saw...

Do you mean all of the series of Dwarf Zini?

I thought the first 4 series were great but after that the budget went up and the quality went down. Lost it's humour for me.

I still laugh out loud at the first episodethough, the "they are all dead Dave, everybody's dead" bit kills me every time i watch it.

One of my other favourite TV characters is Bruce Willis in Moonlighting. Bloody classic TV that.

Hey Stu, what about Ace Rimmer?? "Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back breakfast!" and then when Arnold J Rimmer have to take over the mantle and he says: "Stoke me a klipper, I'll be back for brunch!" Absolutely pissed myself when I heard that!
