Point of clarification please.... Kiera Knightley was also underage and her pictures are still on the site. What is the difference?

As far as I know this was true of three incidences. The Hole caps [topless], the Liam Duke Photoshoot of 2002 [slightly revealing], and the Bend it Like Beckham premier [bare midriff].
All have now been removed.
The answer to your question is There's no difference at all. Just some stuff that slipped under the wire.
Now here's why.
In the UK the ages are different. A girl cannot be photographed topless until she is 16 and cannot be photographed fully nude until 18. It is slightly different again in Europe, different again in Scandanavia, and so on. In the US [to my knowledge] the age is 18 and 21. This board is hosted in the US and US laws apply. That is quite important to remember
Knightley appeared topless in The Hole at 16 but it was a British film. It's likely neither poster nor moderators at the time were aware of her age or the limits. One tends not to consider an "underaged" girl will be allowed to be naked or semi-naked in such a provocative manner in a mainstream western movie. Consider the shitstorm over Brooke Shields in Pretty Baby, and the controversy over Anne Hathaway in Havok even though she was 22 at the time. Id be curious to know if the film was shown unedited in US cinemas. If so that also poses some questions of the US classification bureau. We can discuss and debate the rights wrongs and hypocrisies of a nation with draconian morality laws that in the same breath practically prostitutes its young female celebrities but those are philosophical points. The law is what it is and this board cant take on that kind of legal war just so a few people can get off posting what are essentially revealing pictures of an underaged girl on a forum devoted to nudity. Surely this should not have to be underlined?
However there is also a difference between some caps slipping under the wire and the predatory nature of the feeding frenzy here over Bella Thorne. The moment she turned 18 it was as though someone had fired a starter gun and every shot of her ever taken in a bikini or in underwear was being posted on an ADULT BASED forum. Not in a fashion magazine or some celebrity gossip rag. An ADULT BASED forum. Turning 18 doesn't make that right if she is under 18 in the photos. Anything taken from this point on is fair game legally and no one could care less. Anything taken before this point is not fair game, and posting this stuff is dubious. Legally and (in my opinion) morally

On a personal note I don't see the attractions. I've never seen the appeal of 16 year old girls, even when I was 16, and always preferred my women to look like women and not children or famine victims. But hey. I'm odd that way.

CNDB is the go to for celeb nude scenes research and Mr Skin the definitive resource of those scenes but neither list times in films. I cant say I've ever seen a site that does so maybe it's a project someone should start, or suggest existing sites add the info to their listings

I shifted a few Keira Knightley shots too and had a glance through the Emma Watson thread, and though I didn't see anything obviously out of place there I must admit to not knowing a great deal about Miss Watson [or the rest of the teeny brigade. They didn't interest me beyond admiring good performances even when I was a teen] and I haven't had the time to track all the shots. Going through Knightley's thread took a whole evening. The beach shots of her in a striped bikini are almost non existant on the web now and took hours to properly identify.
I like to think I'm fairly thick skinned but this feeding frenzy like sharks at a bait ball left me stunned. WTF is wrong with people?

Yeah. He basically wants a site that reads "At 23:17 xxxx shows the world her T&A", "At 47:15 xxxx & yyyy fuck like demented marmosets" etc etc ad nauseum.
I've never seen anyone do that beyond what's available on the MrSkin site though I suspect it would be wildly popular among those who never actually watch movies for silly things like plot, theme, structure, dialogue and characterisation....

mrskin actually does, you just have to register a free account with them to see that info.



EDIT: oh wait, you want to skip the good parts? And by 'exact times' you meant the length of the scenes? I don't get ... but in that case, no there isn't a site like that, I believe.

Sasha Grey is still in the Glamour section despite the lead in a Soderberg movie. I'd say that trumps bit parts in 3rd rate cable TV shows. To my mind the only one to really make the transition so far from outright porn to real celebrity is Traci Lords. Grey is trying but given her track record I'm not sure she'll ever be included for anything but notoriety. Soderberg would never have cast her in anything but a no budget project. Sibel Kekili is getting there.
Since the demise of Baywatch no one has ever really given Playmates TV roles anyone would know about and even if they do get a bit part here or there, essentially they are still nude models. It's like that Eleniak line in Under Seige. "I'm an actress! I did a Hunter episode and a Wet n Wild video..."
I just dont see it.

I have also struggled with this question numerous times. Defining "celebrity" is difficult and I don't know that we need to go too crazy, but Playboy playmates who did nothing else should probably be in the Babes/Glamour Model thread.

See I raise this question BECAUSE I don't understand why x is ok, why y is not etc. I'm not poking the wasp's nest, I'm trying to make sure I don't mess up.
A nude only forum would see next to no activity except on the miley Cyrus and Chelsea Handler threads both of whom regard clothing as redundant. If you want an active forum I don't see that as practical or even desirable by the majority of the membership. You'd certainly lose almost all content and most threads altogether. I can see an argument for a sub-forum but not applied to the whole forum.
However, the Rihanna picture (used purely as the first example I could see) is at least provocative, far moreso in fatc than many promo/magazine shots we get. The Julianne Moore post (again at the time puely an example and the latest I could find then) is just another talk show but to cap it off she's dressed like a Catholic Novitiate. From that POV both decisions are baffling and contradictory in extremis.
Generally, because I'm pretty new at the whole thing and using examples around of Mod discretion, I take the tack that as long as it doesn't break rules of being on a banned host or using an ad link or whatever and the subject isn't covered head to foot in an opaque sack [though you'd probably find someone on here who'd be into that (see the Julianne Moore talk show apearance)) then it clearly flies someone's kite so OK. I take that tack because a) it seems safest because b) there is no consistency to use as an example and the theory of "is it sexy?" is easily one of the most subjective questions on the planet. If you ask 50 people you'll get 50 different answers and I cant answer that for you any more than you can for me. That's why Mod discretion is so erratic.
Seen from that perspective you can understand why some people get annoyed, especially if they have spent a lot of time scanning and processing material and uploading it.
