sound out of sync

Use VirtualVCR or VirtualDub to capture the source, both have been around for a long time so I'm not sure if there is something else more up to date but they've always worked a treat for me.

Tmpgenc is more advanced for editing etc, but it depends if the sound gets more out of sync as the movie progresses or not - if it does you'll likely need to recapture. Also make sure you have everything else shut down and capture to a raid array if possible.

Virtua dub will defo do the job, it will take abit of time to allign but will work.
