Ok, here's the deal.

Enter my gay roomate (not actually gay).

Gay roomate buys Samsung SGH-T500 cell phone to be funny.

Seriously. The thing's pink and has diamonds around it and has COOL functions like keeping track of your menstrual cycle on it. It's hilarious.

Gay roomate tries to program phone and realizes he needs the UNLOCK code for this particular model since it appears to be set up for the U.K.

Does anyone know, or have any access to any sites/people that have the UNLOCK code for this phone?

Yes, but unfortunately they don't allow UNLOCK posts/requests.

cellphonehacks seems to think all Samsung's need a data cable & software to unlock... which I'm hoping isn't true.

Check eBay. My Motorola software and cable is like $40 from Verizon, I got it for $15 on eBay....exact same thing. I just checked, though I don't know much about Samsungs there are a lot of Samsung data cables on there for about $10.
