Yeah! Randy Orton is still the WWE Champion :headbang:
To be honest I kinda knew that Cena wasn't going to win. (forget my WM prediction). I knew that after I finally watched Larry King live with WWE superstars few hours b4 WM. Cena said he was going to be filming a new movie called "12 Rounds". (Cena sucks as a boxer, he sucks as an actor. Hopefully the movie won't suck)

MITB result was pretty good (at least Kennedy didn't win): I hope Punk will not go after that second rate ECW championship and will go to SmackDown to become World Heavyweight Champion and then start feud against Edge.

Kane got finally a title and maybe he will get back his power and heat and become who he was years back. BTW I digg Kanes uppercut.

The other results were okay.

FANS HURT LAST NIGHT

Damn this has to suck to be one of these people. You go to see Wrestlemania, the greatest event in wrestling, and you end up going to the hospital during the main event.

WFTV 9: Dozens Injured At WrestleMania XXIV Last Night

WFTV 9 out of Orlando is reporting that dozens of fans were injured last night at WrestleMania XXIV when fireworks plunged into the crowd and exploded. Three fans were transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries including burns. Victim Barbara Vetere was quoted as saying "It felt like a whip. I have a welt on my neck. Like a baseball bat hit me. It was horrible. Horrible."

According to the article, during the final match, Edge vs. The Undertaker, the pyrotechnics malfunctioned sending fireworks and hot cables into the crowded stands.

Greg Hoggatt of the Orlando Fire Department said, "You can see the marks on a few people where hot wires crossed and fireworks touched them." Firefighters said they acted quickly but Vetere said, "We had to sit up in the bleachers and wait for a paramedic to come. They didn't really examine us. And we had to walk all the way down to first aid and had to ask for a bag of ice just to put on our head."

WWE has yet to comment on the incident.

I think KA was the winner for Wrestlemania predictions with 5/10, while myself and phyniz had 4/10. This one was much tougher to predict than l;ast year.

By the way wasn't Randy Orton winning the title make him the 2nd heel to win the title at mania? (HHH 1st)

I think we have a future dream wrestlemania match in the works now with Taker vs. hbk at mania 25. Streak vs. Mr. Wrestlemania in hbk's home state. Justa thought.

Supposedly there is talk of having Austin last match at mania 25 also.

Yokozuna was the first heel to win the title at WM, only to lose to to "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan about a min. later. Also Orton Didn't win the title he retained it. I think you meant to say that he was the second heel to win the main event @ WM. Even though it was the second to last match I would still consider it the main event.

I had a hypothetical question for you guys. I saw that tna's rating fell to a 1.0 recently. I think that impact is the #2 and sometimes number 1 wrestling show on tv right now (quality wise not rating wise). It is just aweful that ECW does a higher number than impact.

Anyway I was wondering what you guys think would happen if tna moved the show to monday nights the same timeslot as raw.

Right away, I know most of you are saying to yourself "They would get slaughtered." Well, I would probably agree. However, I think that their rating would most definately go up. I think it might double. Think about it, people would switch over to impact when raw sucks or during commercials. That would HAVE to bump their abysmal 1.0 rating, RAW has more than three times as many viewers.

my though is that they should try to move to monday and see how the rating would be, after all is westling and everyoen love it. I love it myself. Raw is doing fine on Monday .

TNA moving to monday would be a bad idea. When they went head to head with ECW last year I'm positive they got killed in the ratings. I think the only people that really waatch TNA are the IWC, Internet Wrestling Crowd. I wouldn't know it was even on if I wasn't on the internet or watching Spike. There a ton of commercials for it on spike but not many on other networks.

TNA is doing great at the moment better than I ever thought they would - Ok so they still have the problems they always did (Ignoring the younger, better harder working talent for the older more established wrestlers!!). However the shows are becoming consistent the stories are growing and making the show a more enjoyable. I think they should go back to the four sided ring now and look at getting some better talent on commentary. As for running against Raw - yeah its an idea one that could pay off really well and steal away those that are annoyed by what maybe happening on Raw - Women wrestling matches for example!!

If they really want to compete with the WWE, thay should move Impact to Friday and run against Smackdown. SD is currently so boring that I think Ipact would even win in the ratings. And it would make WWE to make SD better.

Anyway, I agree about the commentary needing to improve phoenix. Don West is brutal IMO.

But, I guess my main thought/question to you guys was, Wouldn't TNA's rating HAVE to go up if it went against RAW just for the simple facts that people would change the channel during RAW's commercials and when RAW sux?

Yes it would go up, it would take carful planning to fit the shows so TNA and Raw adverts happen at different times but yes I do think they could have a rise in their viewing figures!
