Why i hate Hulk Hogan:

Hulk Hogan was interviewed in the July/August edition of
'Sly Magazine' (Sylvestor Stallone's new magazine).
When asked about the public's perception that his movies bombed,
he said: "Compared to the success that Brad Pitt or Arnold Schwarzenegger
have had, people probably thought I had a run of B movies that sucked.
But those movies were cheap to make and they generated a lot of revenue.
If you watch what my movies made against what The Rock's movies are doing
now, taking into account changing ticket prices and how many more theaters
his movies were shown in, I still generated more revenue than he did."

Regarding Steve Austin, he said: "Austin has been in the business about 18 years
and he was on top for four. I wrestled main events for 25 years. I could pull my dick
out and I might be on top for four years - it's called 'cheap heat.' Somebody who
stays on top 25 years has to have more than that. It has to be in your spirit."

When asked if there is anybody left he'd like to wrestle, he said: "Steve Austin's
the only one left, but his neck is injured. And we don't really click, so I don't know
if he and I could do business. But it would be a huge moneymaker if we did.
All I care about now is how secure I can leave my family. There's a difference
between having $40 million in the bank and $400 million."

I'm beginning to remember why Ordnorff & Savage refused to shake hands
with Hogan. He was really out of line with his comments on Austin. Hogan's act
would have grown stale a helluva lot sooner if he had to appear on a live 2 hour
show every week back in the 80s. Don't even get me started on Hogan's movie
career compared to The Rock's!!!

I hope Hogan gets booed at SummerSlam.

Couldn't agree more.

As far as Eddie and Rey are concerned this angle is not only stupid, but its been dragged out far TOO long. Animal and Heindi....can't even begin to spell his name as tag champs....blah. It is funny seeing Nova one night and Simon the next. I think the only reason I watch Smackdown is for Melina, Candice Michelle, and Captain Carisma.

Raw is definately the better show but the whole Kane/Lita/Edge/Matt thing is getting just as bad as the Eddie/Rey angle. Everytime Chris Masters comes out it just means piss break, this guy is boring as hell. I rather watch another long HHH promo. Where the hells Trish? I'm tired of seeing Lita, she's how can I say this, sugarless eye candy.

McMahon introducing Matt Hardy once again shows they never learn.
I honestly thought Hardy would have had more substance to his
comeback interview. The cold hard truth is Hardy's popularity was destined
to nose-dive as soon as he signed with the company that fired him-
unless they played their cards perfectly and got creative. They didn't even try.

The Shawn Michaels skit with Larry King had me laughing hard- when HBK said he
worked hard whether it was Battle Creek or the Garden, the applause and cheers
in the background were pretty indicative of how this feud would have progress
if HBK didn't have his hands tied. Curious how many fans he turns on Hogan due to
segments and promos like these.

No fans have turned on Hogan.Hogan will get a bigger pop that HBK at the PPV.It's because he is the Babe Ruth of wrestling.Remember WM,the fans turn on the Rock.Booing him and cheering for Hogan.Hogan is so big right now.His TV show is going good.Hogan has been on all the big media show.Hogan is just as big now as he was in the past.HBK is a asshole.He alway has been and alway will be.HBK is like HHH,JBL and Bobby Holly.Nobody likes them.They all run to Vince.To rat on all the wreslters.HBK will never be as big as Hogan.When was the last time HBK was on the Tonight show or on the cover on SI.It was NEVER!!!

Dillon keeps saying how popular hogan is and how much of an icon he is, but the truth is hes an old man w/ a terrible hip, he has the worse wring ability. Hogan is bigger then HBK could ever dream about being.Hogan is poplar the ratings go up when he is on PPV.His hip is better then it has been in years.Hogan get cheers everywhere he goings.HBK doesn't,Canada hates him.The WWE makes alot of money in Canada.The thing Vince likes about Hogan is that the real media loves Hogan.Hogan is old but he is still the most poplar wrestler on planet earth.That doesn't say alot for the new wrestlers like Cena or other guys.HBK couldn't go to a TNA or another company.Get the company to beat the WWE in the ratings every week.Hogan may be old but he still puts the asses in seats.

Say whatever you want about HBK but he's ten times more entertaining to watch
than Hogan. Sure Canada hates him- after the Survivor Series swerve incident with
Bret Hart i don't blame 'em- but guess what; Hogan's no saint either. He's popular now
because of nostalgia.

Listen to how he bad-mouths Stone Cold, the Rock, Flair and even Bret Hart. The man doesn't
respect his peers too often unless he knows he can make money with them.

PS- WWE.com reports this afternoon: "After verbally agreeing to terms with WWE,
Brock Lesnar has decided to withdraw from any involvement with the company."

PPS- i still expect to see Brock at Summerslam...

Damn, I was looking foward to maybe seeing Brock again.

Hogan was one of the best ever, but he is just too old and too cenial. He doesn't respect anyone really and just wants more money now. Especially since all his movies pretty much bombed. His show on that shit network VH1 is just for his daughter to gain publicity. Hogan should have retired a LONG time ago. And stayed retired. We as fans want to remember you for your greatness, not for staying too long.

Hogan will always draw and its because he is very well recognized by the mainstream and people in gerneral.. he is way over the hill people love him even though his "in ring" performances these days makes The Brooklyn Brawler look like a kickass technical wrestler..

Today at 4:00 Bret Hart will meet with Vince.About coming back to the WWE.Also Tatanka was offered a contract by the WWE.So he will be back.

If McMahon is talking to Bret it's maybe for next year's Hall of Fame or a Bret Hart DVD.

i'd even guess McMahon wants Bret to have a part in the Hogan-Michaels match at
SummerSlam. It would be cool to have Bret cost HBK the match as payback for the
Montreal incident.

I heard Bret isn't going to be at Summer Slam.The WWE are hoping to talk him into going to the HOF.Anything can happen in the WWE.Talking about Summer Slam what is Kevin Nash doing.I haven't heard anything about this but I think Nash MAY be at Summer Slam.Nash was on WWE.com talking about Hogan and HBK.WWE.com broke the story about Brock walking away from the WWE.So it could be B.S..WWE.com also broke the story that Kane was in trouble for taking off with Lita.Dusty Rhodes is talking to Stef right now.He is talking about going into the HOF.

Dusty Rhodes may be add to the WWE creative team.Both seemed happy about the meeting today.

Dusty Rhodes was apparently offered a contract by WWE to be part of the creative team or work as an agent. There is also apparently talk of introducing him as an on-air character. Word is that Rhodes is very motivated to prove to TNA that they shouldn't have let him go.
