There's no current RapidShare search engine to find on their database itself, but there's pages that would find interesting files from RS in blogs...this one would help you guys out too:

It seems to be the most popular way of uploading pictures/videos but kinda sucks if your not a premium user...so do you guys actually have a premium account or is there some way of getting one w/o paying?

Last time it used to be easy to use rapidshare. But now they want us to key in the words that has the fuckin' cat with it. It's confusing. I always end up keying in the wrong words. I have to redo it again & again............FUCK THE CAT!

Simply amazing... people want to share with you, and you want to bitch and complain about where they host it... I'm not saying that Rapidshare is any better than the rest, they all have issues... MegaUpload, has 350 - 400 minute waits between downloads.... depostfiles has 10kb/s downloads... RS has cats and dogs... others have only x amount of slots per country, others are not allowed in certain countries... you name it, the all have problems... that being said, I'm a RS premium user... never paid a penny for it, over 3 years now... yes I logged out and did some testing of the cat / dog thing as a free user... 20 tries... 5 ended up being during "Happy Hour", so no cat/dog thing... of the 15, I was able to get 13 right the first time... the 2 that I didn't get, instead of hitting try again and going through the wait time again, I just hit the "Back" button re-entered the numbers/letters.... BAM... my download started.

As for other new upstart hosts... I tried that too, one gave me a free lifetime premium account, that had lightning fast uploads, better than most d/l speeds.... problem was, lifetime for the host was about 30 days... they were gone, and so were all my files... yup, you guessed it... they were all re-** DEAD LINK REMOVED ** to a dependable host... Rapidshare.

So please quit crying about hosts... either use the one's people choose to upload to, and be grateful that they are willing to share (how many don't share ?). or simply don't d/l it.

I've had my say... have a great one guys... I'm going to go rethink this whole sharing thing.
