Triple H emerged from quadriceps surgery at approximately 7:30 p.m. today in Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Andrews reports that The Game's surgery went well with no complications. The operation confirmed that the quadriceps tendon was completely torn off the bone and kneecap in his right leg. The tendon was otherwise in good condition and was reattached to the patella.

According to Dr. Andrews, Triple H will need four to six months of recovery before returning to in-ring action. He will begin rehabilitation immediately in Alabama for the next three weeks before he returns home to continue with his physical therapy. The current prognosis is that The Game should be walking again in six weeks.

Konnan will undergo hip replacement surgery this morning in Mexico. His surgery, which was postponed two weeks ago when doctors went in to operate only to find out his kidneys were severely damaged. The damage is believed to be from an infection that Konnan’s immune system failed to recognize. Doctors told Konnan that his situation is fairly common.

Since then, Konnan has been going through kidney dialysis three times a week to help clean out his blood. It appears that the dialysis has been successful thus far and his surgery for this morning will take place as planned.

Konnan will need a kidney transplant in the near future, which is a costly procedure. The transplant procedure is an estimated $100,000 here in the United States. In Mexico, however, it was estimated at around $35,000 with a one-year wait. In addition, Konnan is in need of a kidney. TNA is such a great place to work.Konnan was going to be getting a big push and was going to be the number one guy in TNA.If Vince didn't help out a wrestler on his roster.Like TNA is doing.Everyone would be pissed.What about TNA treating wrestler like shit.Remember what I said if you like TNA you better start taping it.Vince will take them down just like he took down WCW and ECW.

Good question Cman I guess he must put them under a large amount of strees either that or he just keeps landing badly. When I watched the match it seemed that he wasn't able to get his legs into the right position and his weight came down on the side of his knee. I'm guess the muscle just gave out at the weakest point!

I watched video of both injuries (last week and 5 years ago) to HHH and I don't even see anything that happened that would have caused that injury.

Do you think HHH is juicing? I don't think he is that big or ripped. Its very possible though.

well technically none of the are now (bar mcmahom) because of the WWE drug tests that are carried out. Hence why Masters has dropped a few in the last few months. I'm sure that all of have used them at some point but they shouldn't be anymore.

I agree with Phynix. There is no doubt they all used it at some point, but who knows when or for how long.

At this moment, it is not expected that Paul Wight (Big Show) will return for WrestleMania. Previously, it was believed that Wight might be rested and healed enough to compete. The original idea was for Wight to wrestle against his good friend Hulk Hogan. Of course a lot can still happen between now and WrestleMania, so you can never say never. The ball is in Wight's court.

The projected plan or idea in the WWE now is that Donald Trump may have some involvement at WrestleMania. According to Dave Scherer of PWInsider, the idea now is that any involvement from Trump may be his being in the corner of a wrestler or wrestlers during a match at WrestleMania. On the opposite corner would be none other than Vince McMahon. If this projected plan or idea goes through, that would almost eliminate any plan for a Mick Foley and Vince McMahon match. As reported previously here on the site, Foley has been lobbying for months to have a match against McMahon at this year's WrestleMania. Foley's last appearance on WWE television was back in the fall on an episode of Raw, when he was "fired" after kissing McMahon's rear. Again, I would like to stress that any talk of Trump being involved at WrestleMania is just a projected plan or idea at this point. Nothing has been confirmed and it is very well possible that Trump will not make any appearances in the WWE.

I would recommend the Big Show retires before he kills himself. I mean look what happened to Andre the Giant. He wasn't very old when he died.

The Great Khali was moved over to RAW in response to Triple H's injury because they needed a new big star. The plan was for the DX vs. RKO feud to continue a little longer. There had been talk of Khali vs. Lashley for the ECW Title at WrestleMania, but no longer. Plans are being reworked for the next several months as we speak. Furthermore, there were plans for Khali to move over to RAW, but not this soon.

With Big Show looking less and less likely to be able to go at WrestleMania, Khali is now the leading candidate to face Hulk Hogan at the event. Vince McMahon really wants to play off of WrestleMania 3 with Hogan vs. a giant, and now Khali appears to be that man.

Khali was moved over to RAW to get more exposure in preparation for his match with Hogan. There is still a chance that Big Show may return for this, but with it looking less and less likely with each passing week, Khali has been penciled in to wrestle Hogan at WrestleMania. Also, there are people who strongly believe that Big Show's done with the business.

Randy Couture appeared on "Inside the UFC" on Spike TV this past Thursday night and dropped his bombshell announcement.

And his announcement was this. He'll be returning to the octagon - to fight, at the age of 43 he'll be returning to his old stomping grounds of the Heavyweight division to challenge the champion Tim Sylvia.

That's right, coming from the 205 lb. weight class when he retired, Couture will take on the 6'8'' 265 lb. Heavyweight champion in his first fight back at UFC 68 "The Uprising" in Ohio for his title belt.

Randy Couture went on to announce that he signed a four-fight, two-year contract that will see him competing in the eight-sided cage until he is 45 years old.

He's a former two-time Heavyweight champion, two-time Light Heavyweight champion and UFC Hall of Famer. Will he be able to add another amazing accolade to his already astonishing career? We'll find out March 3, 2007 live on pay-per view when UFC 68 "The Uprising" hits the Nationwide Arena in Ohio.

According to new reports from The Pro Wrestling Torch, Kurt Angle hasn't taken on a role of being a "locker room leader" within TNA. One reason this might be taking place is because some TNA sources who have observed the situation feel Angle is a little "out there."

Says one TNA wrestler quote, "He's insane. It's like it's real to him." For whatever reason, the early feeling within TNA is that Angle wants to relive his Olympic glory days in pro wrestling and has such an intensity and passion for what he is doing right now that he, in a way, comes off as if he takes pro wrestling matches seriously than most in TNA are comfortable with or used to.

WWE is looking to form a faction which would include Harry Smith, Nattie Neidhart, T.J. Wilson and possibly Teddy Hart. This group would be called The New Hart Foundation. A lot of this depends on Teddy Hart signing with WWE because he is under contract to MTV's Wrestle Society X promotion until February. Also, oftentimes he is his own worst enemy when it comes to promotions who book him.

In regards to how they are all related, T.J. Wilson is a long time friend of the Harts as he'd always hang out at their house and he's considered to be family. Wilson signed a developmental contract with WWE a few months ago. After he fulfills his indy obligations, he will report to Deep South Wrestling. He is currently in a relationship with Nattie Neidhart, who is also under contract to WWE. Nattie is of course the daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Jim Neidhart was married to Bret Hart's sister Ellie, but apparently, they are now divorced. Also, it's pretty much a lock that Nattie will be called up to WWE sometime in 2007 one way or another.

After appearing on several house shows during the summer, Harry Smith has been sitting on the sidelines since September because WWE has no idea as to what do with him. Also, he's not appearing on OVW or DSW shows either.

Teddy Hart is a third generation member of the Hart wrestling family. His mother is Georgia Hart, who is another one of Bret's sisters. In 1998, Hart became the youngest person ever signed to a WWE developmental contract, but he was subsequently released a shortwhile later due to "attitude" problems.

In other news, Mike DiBiase, the son of wrestling legend Ted DiBiase, is reportedly dating Bret Hart's daughter Jade. Jade is 23 years old and not involved with wrestling. Although, you could see her sitting with the Hart relatives at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony last year for Bret Hart's induction.

Hulk Hogan made an appearance on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show yesterday. During Hogan's appearance, he took a phone call from Vince McMahon's secretary Ann Russo. Russo was calling Hogan to let him know about the candidates for this year's WWE Hall of Fame ceremony and wanted to know who he thought should be inducted.

Russo, who had no idea she was on the air at the time, read off the following names as candidates for the Hall of Fame: The Von Erichs, Ultimate Warrior, The Original Sheik, Ric Flair, Mr. Fuji, Nick Bockwinkel, Muhammed Ali, Mr. T, Mike Tyson, Howard Finkel, Jim Ross, Ken Patera, King Curtis, Ted DiBiase, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Honky Tonk Man, Randy Savage, Dusty Rhodes, Dick Ebersol (NBC Executive responsible for creation of Saturday Night's Main Event), The Wild Samoans, Big Boss Man, Bob Backlund, Rick Rude, The Bushwhackers, Rocky Johnson and The Brooklyn Brawler.

Hogan was then asked by Russo to pick names from the list that he thought would be good candidates for this year. Hogan named off Big Boss Man, King Curtis, Dusty Rhodes, Randy Savage, The Wild Samoans, The Von Erichs, Rick Rude and The Bushwhackers. In what was described as a very funny moment during the show, when Russo was told she was live on the air, she sounded shocked and noted that she would be getting into trouble for saying the names for the public to hear. Hogan then left the studio to take a call from Vince McMahon, with it later being known that McMahon was not happy about the names going over the air the way they did.

The Undertaker vs. Batista is still penciled in for Wrestlemania.

Stephanie McMahon totally freaked out backstage when Triple H tore his quad. Her reaction was described as being as if Triple H had been killed in the ring rather than just torn a muscle.

DX will disband they have no choice, shawn micheals should enter and win the rumble and then headline wrestlemainia...ok bring on the negative comments!

HBK in my opinion is the best wrestler ever and my fav but I think he has already won the rumble 2-3 times someone else should win it. As far as DX goes, if they had anybody worth anything in their creative department they should come up with something for dx. But sadly, they probably won't.

Amy "Lita" Dumas will wrestle for Hermie Sadler's UWF promotion in 2007. They have been friends for a long time. UWF and TNA are no longer affiliated with each other. With a TNA Women's division on the way, you'll no doubt see her there soon as well.
