Wrestling 2005

i just dont even know what to feel right now---

owen hart was a tragedy, eddie guererro was also a tragedy, but this is different

we will never know what can lead a man to do something this horrible--latest reports say he strangled his wife smothered his son---and hung himself.

no matter what comes out from the police reports,im going to try to remeber chris as one the absolute best to ever grace the ring.

could wrestle any wrestler, any size any style---no matter if he won or lost you would love his matches.

who knew what pressures he had in his life which could have made him snap, but i choose to think of the good times

I couldn't agree with you more Metalhead666. The ladder match with Jericho, Submission match against Kurt Angle and his best of 5 series matches with Booker T (Stupid King gimic is pissing me off!).

Chris Benoit he entertained me in some many ways, and that is the most important thing.

I'm watching a news conference right now outside Chris Benoit's home on CNN, and the Sheriff is saying that they believe that it was indeed a double homicide/suicide due to the evidence found inside the home. And they also found prescription medication and steroids in the house.

I am beyond speechless right now, I just can't believe that this happened.

The WWE removed all of its Benoit tribute from its web site, with the only remaining piece being a statement blasting the media to attributing the death to "roid rage". Do you guys think they are trying to distance themselves from anything to do with Benoit?

No, but I do think Vince is showing the good taste of not throwing it at people. Benoit's still got another 2(?) kids out there, plus Nancy's family, and considering how things went down memorializing Nancy & Daniel's presumed killer is a notably bad idea.

At the same time, I'm glad to see some folks that have been able to seperate the tragic events from the historical preformances. Most folks are shunning all things Benoit lately, and I thought I was gonna be alone with Bret Hart of all people (who appeared on Scarborough Country on MSNBC tonight, if anyone wanted to look into what he said) in acknowleding that aside from this, Benoit's legacy was exemplary.

RIP Benoit Family

I don't care what they say. I still don't believe he killed his family.

WWE has remove all evidence of Benoit from their web page aside from the items that cripplersucka said about Benoits profile and merchandice are all gone. I can understand them doing this as it is a dificult situation now that the true events have come to light and as it would see Chris did indeed kill his family before taking his own life. I guess we will never really know the reson why or what brought on the sudden and shocking events either ways whats done is done and I feel that we too should move on to other wrestling matters.

Nitro as the ECW champion good move or lack of crediable talent?

Uh who is Edge gonna face now that Batista is out of the picture?

King Booker or Booker T who do you prefer?

Should John Cena lose to add more to his character or does the constant winning over and over and over again make him a stronger character?

Nitro is not extreme enough to be an ECW Chanpion.

Mark Henry, Kane, Khali - I think Edge is gonna faca one of these 3 guys and I also think Batista is not out of the picture for good.

I prefer Booker T cuz I hate king Booker.

Cena should keep winning until someone good from ECW or SD or a new signing comes to RAW.

Nitro is goo no denying that but he's not heaveyweight champion good at least not yet.

I was thinking ric flair as edges next challenge.

Old school Booker T was great especially in Harlem Heat I miss him, I miss the Spinarooni!

I've heard that Cena will be facing someone that has moved to raw but it wont be until next year.

I read that it will be weeks maybe months untill all the autopsies (sp?) and other facts are gathered. I am going to not judge benoit on anything until that time. The only thing that I know is that the media loves to put its own spin on things and the lie and start rumors to sell papers, tv ratings ect. It's funny the media can lie and start rumors and create unwarranted speculation but when the WWE does something too "over the top" for ratings the are looked at as low class.

Anyway enough of my ranting.

Nitro is good he just isn't ready to be world champ. I don't know why they didn't put the title on CM punk instaed.

WHo will Edge face ? Good question. Is rey rey coming back soon? I already forgot who was drafted to smackdown with all the benoit crazyness. MVP?

I liked Booker as the old Booker T but King Booker was comical at times. I really don't care either way. Since the tag division sux maybe Stevie ray and book can reunite that would be interesting.

I think Cena should keep winning, Cena is the closest thing they have to a mega-star. He needs to be unbeatable for a while to create interest when he does lose (e.g. Hogan, Goldberg, Austin).

I think Nitro and Punk are a good feud for the title. It'll only help build their careers, and since both men actually have some level of technical skill, it'll lend some extra credibility to the championship.

My initial guess is Flair for a match, then probably Kane. At least until Undertaker & Rey Misterio return.

Booker T. Not that there's really much difference beyond the crown. I've struggled to find an accent, but I can't. He just sounds like he's got a really bad head cold now.

I can't see John's character getting stronger or weaker at this point. BUT, I do think his winning streak is making the title more prestigious. After all the wins, when someone does finally beat him squarely for the gold, it's going to be that much bigger of a deal, which can only help the title and those competing for it.

wwe right now needs a new signing,a big impact player like goldberg or lesnar for a fresh feud with cena.Does anyone know what has happened with brock lesnar? At one point he left football and wanted to make a return to wwe.

Lesnar kinda disappeared. I know at one point he was IPW Campion and was wrestling in Japan theres talk of him and Kurt Angle doing an MMA match but money can't be desided apon. As for big gys look at for Dan Rodman was once know as Daniel Rodimer in tough enoug has been in training since looks to be very high on the radar as far as new stars go.

But in MMA you have to be a "jack of all trades". Your never going to get anywhere with just one style.

The plan is for HHH to return to WWE at the August 13th Raw
from Madison Square Garden in NYC.

WWE is heavily considering brining back Sean Waltman(X-Pac).
Sources say he has been clean for several months, he is healthy and
been wrestling a lot in Mexico and California and he is still in his early
to mid-30's.
