Chris Candito (aka Chris Candido) passed away earlier today at the age of 33.

Details of his death are still sketchy right now. There are conflicting reports about the cause of death, and police in Matawan, New Jersey, where he lives, were not able to confirm his death.

Candito suffered a bad leg injury at the TNA Lockdown pay-per view this past Sunday, and underwent surgery for the injury on Monday. He then appeared at the TNA Impact! tapings as a manager on Tuesday night before returning home.

Candido was a big part of the Impact! show that will air tomorrow on FOX Sports, interfering and leading to The Naturals winning the NWA tag-team titles over America's Most Wanted.

Damn this one got me off guard.

I watched Chris a few weeks on TNA.He was still a very good wrestler.He turn down the WWE a few times.Chris said it was hard being on the road.With his problems.Chris had a drug problem but that was in the pass.I think he went to a rehab.It's to bad that everything seem to be working out.

Man this is really a heartbreaking story. I think he died of a blood clot. It shows that no matter how famous you are anything can go wrong at any time even with the simplest of things. Rest in Peace Chris you will be missed by many

that seems to be the consensus on the news sites...staph infection &/or blood clot. What surprises me most was his age...must've barely been 20 when he worked for WWE....would've NEVER guessed he was that young. Has to put him close to the top of the "youngest NWA World Champion" list...

Tonight will be a big test for Hulk Hogan.The first match after hip replacement surgery. That is the reason why Hogan hasn't done the leg drop.He said he may try it tonight.If all goes well.Hogan would like to wrestle part time for the WWE.The rumor going around is TNA has signed a new tv deal.With maybe WGN.TNA with not say who yet.Most think it could be a Monday night slot but no one is sure.
