Wrestling 2005

I'll have to check itou when I get home from work.

Sean Waltman (X-Pac) no-showed the TNA Unbreakable PPV. TNA officials had spoken
to him on the phone and he said he was running late and would be there in time
for his match. Whether he made it to the arena isn't confirmed, but one source believes
he did arrive at the arena, but too late for his match.

His family and friends haven't heard from him since the night before
the PPV, though.

Waltman has had a contract in hand to sign on long term with TNA,
but wasn't pleased with some stipulations in it. He has also recently
been in talks with WWE.

I don't rate him.... His time in the big time was only because he was bum buddies with HBK, Nash, HHH etc....

He should go back to Transvestite Porn!!

What you don't think the bronco buster is the most incredible move of all time. How about how he screams in the mic during interviews 3 times worse than the worst 80's wrester ever did.

X-pac blows, he always did in my opinion. If people want to see the bronco buster so bad they should just get May young to do it at least we get a laugh. I think the fans at the arenas right before the wwe fired him said it best with their signs "X-pac=Piss break". haha

i agree about Waltman though i hope he isn't wrestling's next casualty.

BTW, just as when TNA debuted on Fox Sports Net in June 2004, Jeff Jarrett
found a way to capture the NWA World Heavyweight Title before the next big
television premiere for the promotion. With the October 1 Spike TV debut just
a few weeks away, Jarrett captured the NWA World Title from Raven in Ontario, Canada
under the banner of Scott D'Amore's Border City Wrestling promotion.

"I told everyone that for the good of TNA Wrestling, I needed to be NWA World
Heavyweight Champion when we hit Spike TV," Jarrett said after winning the NWA Title.
"I knew TNA management was trying to keep me down, so I had to get that title back
on MY terms."

P.S.- The Self-Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior...coming soon!!

X-Pac only sucked when he became X-Pac. When he was The Kid he kicked some major ass. He was one of my favorite wrestlers. Then he went to WCW and tried to be a badass and he fell flat for me but then he came back to the WWE as a member of DX and became on of my favorites again. After the first reformation of DX he was right back to being Mr. Piss Break. I haven't seen much of him in TNA but I bet he is still Mr. Piss Break. Has he been found yet, as much as Idon't care to see him wrestle I hope he is alive and well. I'd hate to find out he is latest wrestler to leave us so early. But the way things are going with his life the past couple years makes me think sometthing terrible has happend.

Vince,HHH and Joanie took him to rehab once. Not to long ago.I think Vince or HHH paid for it.If something did happen to him.Vince will be the bad guy.Like always in the press.

Not sure about what you guys are looking forward to at Unforgiven but in my opinion the WWE Championship match between Kurt Angle and John Cena looks to be the best one.
When Cena got his title way back at 'Mania I was elated as I felt that JBL had been a bad Champ and had held the belt way longer that he deserved. However as time past and I saw more of Cena's matches I realised that thee were all very similar, even matches at PPV's were of the same standard of his basic matxhes on Raw or Smackdown!. However Kurt is at the peak, he continues to impress me with every match I see, at Unforgiven Kurt Angle has to beat Cena, if he doesn't it will make the past months unimportant!!

Here are my winners for tonight

WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs. Kurt Angle W Kurt Angle

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Carlito (c) vs. Ric Flair W Carlito

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Masters W Chris Masters

Steel Cage Match
Edge vs. Matt Hardy W Matt Hardy

Big Show vs. Gene Snitsky W Big Show

WWE World Tag Team Championship
Hurricane & Rosey (c) vs. Cade & Murdoch W Cade & Murdoch

Shelton Benjamin vs. Kerwin White W Shelton Benjamin

Trish Stratus & Ashley Massaro vs. Victoria & Torrie Wilson W Trish Stratus & Ashley Massaro

Here is some good news

PWTorch.com

Sean Waltman arrived at a family members house in Florida last night after not being found for more than a week.

Many friends of Sean have been worried all week long wondering if he was OK. As noted, he left his Grandmothers house last Sunday at around 6EST and said he was heading for the TNA arena. He never showed and did not contact any friends.

More as we get it and we do not know where he was all week.

Damn, I got them all right except two. I should have known better than to pick Masters over Michaels. I really didn't expect Flair to beat Carlito. Ric Flair as the Intercontinental Champion, Thats not cool. Carlito as Champion, Now thats cool.

Not a bad PPV really, the cage match was awesome with Hardy dropping a leg from the top of the cage which looked and sounded amazing.
Flair picking up his 1st Intercontinental Championship but huge news - Flair hit an axe handle from the top rope....thats right Flair went up high and was able to pull off a move - he even got a standing ovation for it!!!!!
Not sure how the Hurricane is after a really sick DDT from the apron to the floor, it looked like he landed hard on his left shoulder and there was a sorta twist to his neck as well??
As of yet no one has been able to escape the Masterlock..seems strange to me as before Masters came along guys would use the Full nelson and the other guy would break it really easily?? Obviously Masters is a very strong individual (yeah right!!).

HOLY SHIT! FLAIR HIT A MOVE OFF THE TOP ROPE?

I've only seen him connect from the top rope one time. He did a flying crossbody I believe on Ricky Steamboat, but Steamboat reveresd it and got the pin.I have to see this PPV, I'll prolly rent it when it comes to DVD.

Jose Canseco was wearing a Hart Foundation t-shirt on this week's
episode of VH1's "The Surreal Life," further fueling rumors that he might
be in negotiations to appear at WrestleMania 22 since it shows he is
a wrestling fan to some degree. At this point, there isn't any concrete
confirmation he's actually the celebrity in talks with WWE.

BTW, Tough Enough winner and recently released WWE wrestler Maven
has been cast in the new season of VH1's "Surreal Life." He will be
living with C.C. Deville, Tawny Kitaen, Alexis Arquette, Andrea Lowell, Florence
Henderson, Sherman Helmsley, and Steve Harwell.

Besides Stone Cold, Hogan, Triple H, and Foley, WWE is advertising
the following legends for the Oct. 3 'WWE Homecoming': "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan,
Jimmy Hart, Hillbilly Jim, Superstar Billy Graham, The Iron Sheik, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper,
Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young, Harley Race, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Chief Jay Strongbow,
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Nikolai Volkoff and Koko B. Ware.

What a f*ckin' lineup!!!!

Since Raven lost the TNA World Title to Jarrett with the help of AMW look for the dudleys (or 3-D as I've been hearing them called) to debut on Spike coming to Raven's aid and laying the smack down on Jarrett/AMW!!!!

re Linda Hogan

Apparently there is an oops moment with Linda Hogan showing her stuff. anyone have this ?

Then Ric Flair hit a move off the top rope the next night on RAW against carlito again. I think that that is the 3rd time in his career. Do you think that should have been saved for Wrestlemania or something though?

Does anyone really think that Bischoff will win the wwe title on the raw homecoming??

Not at all. I would like to see Cena drop the belt but Bischoff will not win it. Angle will more than likely interfere and Cena will retain the belt.
