War In Iraq/Terrorists

The lyrics to "Open Season" by Stuck Mojo:

Open Season
Music: Ward
Lyrics: Aborn, Nelson
String Arrangement: Eric Frampton

I speak peace when peace is spoken, But I speak war when your hate is provoking, The season is open 24-7-365, Man up yo time to ride, No need to hide behind slogans of deceit, Claiming that you're a religion of peace, We just don't believe you, We can clearly see through, The madness that you're feeding your people, Jihad the cry of your unholy war, Using the willing, the weak and poor, From birth drowning in propaganda, rhetoric and slander, All we can say is damn ya

My forefathers fought and died for this here
I'm stronger than your war of fear
Are we clear?
If you step in my hood
It's understood
It's open season

I don't need a faith that's blind, Where death and hate bring me peace of mind, With views that are stuck deep in the seventh century, So much sand in your eyes to blind to see, The venom that you leaders preach, Is the path to your own destruction, Your own demise, You might say that I don't understand but your disgust for me is what I realize, Surprise!
Your homicidal ways has got the whole world watching, Whole world scoping, So if you bring it to my home base, Best believe it, The season's open

I see you, Hell yeah I see you, Motherfucker naw, I don't wanna be you, If you come to my place, I'll drop more than just some bass, Yo you'll get a taste of a, Sick motherfucker from the Dirty, I ain't worrying not a fucking bit, I'm telescoping like Hubble, Yo you in trouble, Yo on the double, I'm wild with mine, Bring that style with mine, Fuck with my family I'll end your line, Just the way it is, Just the way it be, Do you understand? No matter if you're woman or man, or child, My profile is crazy, That shit you do doesn't amaze me, I'm ready to blaze thee

I don't give a damn what god you claim, I've seen the innocent that you've slain, On my streets you're just fair game, Like a pig walk to your slaughter, The heat here is so much hotter, And my views won't teeter totter or fluctuate, Step to me you just met your fate, And I'll annihilate, With the skill of a Shogun assassin, Slicing and dicing precise with a passion, In any shape form or fashion, Bring it to my home, Welcome to the danger zone, Cause your attitude's the reason, The triggers keep squeezing, The hunt is on and it's open season

It's Open Season

What do you all think?

leave it up to some southern boys to come out something like that, outstanding

Hey Tex. I hope you're keeping watch of those tornadoes ripping through the central part of your state. Stay safe.

Ice,

The lyrics are pretty good but I've never heard of the band. I was going to suggest that you post a link to the song but, if its country and/or western, just let me know as I'm not a fan.

phynix,

I saw that last night and thought it was quite amusing. GW beats out Osama, Saddam and Satan for top villian? Thats quite a feat!

The band Stuck Mojo plays what is called rap-core or rap-metal. The rap-style vocals I could do without, but the instrumentals are quite good.

You can actually listen to the "Open Season" and others on the same album for free on Stuck Mojo's site:

Check out "For the Cause of Allah" as well.

Wow, that was something. Almost as bad as watching the Nick Berg video a couple years ago. I'm kinda glad he's gone, but it won't do a whole lot of good in the grand scheme. If anything, it'll give the terrorists another martyr to rally behind.

I don't think the terrorists will give a lick if Saddam is dead or not as he was not a great friend of theirs. Remember, he was a secularist throughout most of his reign and would torture/execute a terrorist as fast as he would anyone else. He viewed them as just as much of a threat to his power as anyone.

If anything, they'll mourn the day GW leaves office as he's done more to promote their agenda than anyone else.

Min the libs will come down on you for dare speaking of some kind of terrorist agenda, its better to sweep it under the carpet along with 911. Otherwise you might have to admit that this started before W came in and was coming no matter what. I know you don't want that.

Well, I'm not sure about that. I think most people (in their right minds) recognize that Al Quaida has an agenda. Apparently, they want everyone (every last one of us) to bow down to their prophet and god. The question is how to deal with such religious wackos.

Otherwise you might have to admit that this started before W came in and was coming no matter what. I know you don't want that.

This started long before W came into office. If someone wanted, they could certainly go back to the time of the Crusades (roughly around 800 to 1200 A.D.) although a more pertinent time (at least for the modern era) would be the inception of Israel after WW2.

And yes, we do have to go after these assholes. And we need to go after them with every tool in our arsenel. The thing is that we have to go after them intelligently, as this is really a war for hearts and minds in the Arab/Muslim world. That war we're losing badly as GW doesn't have a clue.

Just imagine something. Lets just say that GW had done the correct thing in Afganistan. Lets say that he went in there with several hundred thousand troops after Al Quaeda and the Taliban. Lets just say that American troops surrounded Bin Laden at Tora Bora instead of letting Afgani warlords (that Bin Laden was friends with) guard the back door (thus letting him escape).

Lets just say that Bin Laden and his henchman were now gone forever and, instead of spending billions in Iraq, we spent a tenth of that on building roads, schools, jobs, etc., etc. in Afganistan.

My feeling is that we'd be a lot further along in the war for hearts and minds and wouldn't have anywhere near the enemies we have now. GW is totally to blame for the mess we're in. He should be impeached and then arrested and tried as a war criminal.

Intelligent fighting like the crosshair of a missile pointed right at ol Bin's camp ready to fire at the push of a button? The fact will always remain that he did what any human in his position would have done and thank goodness so since we are safer. Remember i've been telling you to listen to the troops and see what they say? Funny how Mr. Kerry sits all alone at the mess hall cause the troops don't believe what he does? Funny how its only the troops that the libs and the media know that don't believe this is right. Why won't Hillary say shit about it? No the fact will always remain that he should be impeached because you were told not to like him.

I'm not sure what your trying to say there Duke, but I definitely believe that we are not a bit safer. Exactly the opposite.

And no one told me not to like GW. He earned it.

Oh, and lest we forget, the casualty figure for US troops in Iraq has now gone over 3,000. Happy New Year?

Min he somehow earned that before the war even. 3,000 troops in years vs that many in seconds with the purpose of preventing it again, so yeah a very happy New Years. Wouldn't want it to be all in vain now would ya.

GWB is a puppet on a string, the ones pulling the strings are still not exposed.
The ones talking, discussing and spending time about that puppet on the strings are the ones who are played with.

Didn't you just talk about him? I guess you're the one being played with.

Stop it! Didn't your Mother tell you that could make you go blind? :fag:

There is another group of people out there calling for GB to be tried as a war criminal. They're called terrorists. Don't worry, I'm not Secret Service, but calling for the death of a sitting President is risky business (this IS what you meant, because there is no other result from this kind of trial for those who call for it, you don't call for it just because you want him to be found innocent.)

But now that the Dems have taken the House and Senate there's a chance you might get your wish. Forward your post to Nancy Pelosi, let me know what she says to you. (This ought to be good!!!)

OFFicerJACK, I don't think Pelosi would agree with NikkeleNelis. Pelosi may think Bush is misguided or poorly informed, but she would never call him a war criminal and see that he'd be tried for war crimes or other charges to that effect. Not only would that be silly, but it would also be politically devastating even though Bush's approval ratings have been around 35% or 40%.

Also, you remember what happened when Hugo Chavez called Bush the Devil at the UN and after at an event. Democratic (and fairly left-wing) congressman Charlie Rangel (NY) denounced Chavez, saying he had no right blasting "his President" (i.e. Rangel's President) on his state's soil. Yes, Rangel was defending Bush! Heck, if some third world dictator/demagogue (for example Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) were to come into my country and berate the Prime Minister of Canada, despite my own dislike of Stephen Harper, I'd be absolutely livid and would favour his immediate eviction from Canada.

(I think you meant mindido, not NikkeleNelis). That's why I suggested he forward his post to her. I'd like to see her reaction. When she was told she'd be the new Speaker of the House I bet she bared her fangs and started salivating at the thought of tasting GB's blood. Until of course she was told she'd have to cooperate with him instead. Yikes!

You see, that's impossible for her to do. When she was an infant the first words out of her mouth were "Take no prisoners." There's no way she's going to cooperate with GB. Yes, politics does make strange bedfellows.
